旅行先の日本、夕食を済ませ出たレストランの前にあった小さなケーキ屋さんとの出会い。
ショーウインドーにならぶ宝石のようなケーキたちに心奪われたのがワカフェの始まりです。

‘’Dazzling, dainty and enchanting jewels’’
While visiting Japan, we encountered on a small patisserie when we stepped out of a restaurant after dinner.
The breath-taking array of colourful cakes in their show window was like glittering jewellery and these tantalising treats took our heart away.

一つ一つが個性的で目でもおいしく頂けるケーキたち、見た目通り優しく可愛い味に加え、品質とデコレーションともに非常に繊細なケーキです。
ほどよいサイズに加え、素材そのものの甘味、風味を極力引き出し、素材自身の味を生かすため砂糖は必要最低限に抑えています。
一つでも満足できるケーキですが、当社自慢の軽さでいくつでもお召上がりいただけるケーキに仕上がっています。

なるべく日本のパンと食感が近くなるようにイギリスで手に入る粉を使い配合等研究し、柔らかく食べたときに弾きのある食感を求るとともにパンの柔らかさが持続するよう工夫しています。

Japanese bread.
Our bakers work hard to keep the wonderfully soft texture dough, the tenderness and fluffiness.

まろみのある煎茶、宇治の抹茶、国内ローストのコーヒー豆、季節のメニューなど厳選した素材を使用したドリンクメニューも豊富にご用意し、日本の器でおもてなしさせて頂いております。
当店にはWi-Fiはございません。

Selected premium teas and quality coffee are served in beautiful crockery to compliment these distinctly Japanese creations. We hope to give our customers an authentic taste of Japan and hope your experience at WA is a truly memorable one.

Only limited numbers of seating are available , however when you have chance to dine-in at our cafe, we hope you enjoy your own time, or time with your friends and family.
